Zest Juice Brand Concept

Zest Juice is a conceptual brand I developed, focused on teaching children the importance of health and fitness through engaging and interactive experiences. By partnering with Camp YMCA, Zest creates dynamic health programs that resonate with kids while fostering a love for nutritious choices.

I conducted extensive research into health trends and public perceptions of juice versus smoothies to ensure Zest effectively bridges the gap between nutrition and education. The vibrant brand identity, featuring fun fruit characters, captures children's attention and encourages them to embrace healthy habits. Additionally, I designed an accompanying app that offers educational activities, enhancing the overall experience and positioning Zest as a leader in children's health and wellness.

With approximately 14.7 million children and adolescents in the U.S. affected by obesity, it was crucial for Zest Juice to take a proactive approach in promoting healthy eating habits at an early age. I designed the brand’s messaging and product offerings to emphasize the importance of nutrition and fitness in a fun, approachable way, making health more engaging for children. By partnering with kids camp and creating interactive health programs, we empowered kids to make better food choices, all while highlighting the benefits of fresh, locally sourced juices. This strategy aimed to foster healthier lifestyles and combat childhood obesity through education and active participation.

Research shows that using educational games in the classroom can increase learning outcomes by 20%, so I applied this insight to Zest Juice’s strategy by integrating fun, interactive learning elements into the brand experience. To engage children and make nutrition more exciting, we developed educational games and activities that taught the benefits of healthy eating and fitness in a playful, memorable way. This approach not only made the learning process enjoyable but also helped children retain important health information, empowering them to make informed choices about their diet and lifestyle.
