The Celeste Center + Roswell
Convention Re-Brand
The UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell, NM needed help. Aside from bad user experience, the website was outdated and looked like something from a bad 90’s sci-fi. My goal with the rebrand was to make it feel like a legit organization while enhancing the user experience. The website bore out a full integrated campaign. The project ended with a complete rebrand of their Roswell UFO Festival.
The Celeste Center + Roswell websites
The UFO Museum and Research Center was organized to inform the public about what has come to be know as the “Roswell Incident”. The center endeavors to be the leading information source in history, science and research about UFO events worldwide. It’s website was very 90’s and needed a facelift. My goal with this re-brand was to draw in more visitors and create a memorable experience. The website was divided into three sections: Make Contact, About and the 2019 UFO convention. The homepage features images from the museum and the convention from the previous year, Parking and directions, hours and admission, and contact info. It highlights some of their exhibits and offers up free resources on UFOology. The UFO convention section highlights how the City of Roswell invites UFO enthusiasts and skeptics alike to join the celebration of one of the most debated incidents in history. The three-day even features guest speakers, authors, live entertainment, a costume contest, parade, pet costume contest, family-friendly activities and more.
The Celeste Center App
This app is designed to be an accompanying piece to the museum walkthrough. The app opens up to a menu screen with the options of “Mission: Alpha”, “Mission: Bravo” and “Tickets”. Mission: Alpha begins your galactic space exploration and Mission: Bravo is designed to let you enjoy the museum at your own pace. Lt. Kelly is your guide through the mission, helping you find clues to solve the Roswell Incident.
